Account Manager

About The Role

The Account Manager is responsible for full delivery of IVE Premiums & Merchandising services to the contracted or direct customer. The role will drive the establishment of a profitable and sustainable customer relationship, emphasising quality, productivity and alignment to the Group’s business goals while delivering agreed service levels.

The Account Manager is a key driver and leader in ensuring the effective development and implementation of procedures and processes relevant to all contract terms or IVE Premiums & Merchandising procedures to ensure full accountability, innovation and continuous improvement from all members of their team.

The capacity to provide leadership, facilitate change and achieve business objectives while recognising and accommodating the unique requirements of the client is critical to the success of this role.

As Account Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Manage and retain a portfolio of key clients
  • Responsibility for budget achievement
  • Identify opportunities within your portfolio of clients that will extend IVE's foot-print and grow revenue
  • Build strong working relationships with business leaders at varying levels to ensure retention and growth of these customers
  • Strategically manage customers and opportunities in order to grow revenue within your portfolio
  • Demonstrate a high level of team values and professionalism
  • Create and pitch sales presentations to clients and prospects

Key requirements and personality traits:

  • Experience in a high-paced sales environment
  • Knowledge of the Promotional Merchandise Industry
  • Relentlessly customer orientated
  • Practical knowledge of all sales/marketing functions
  • Demonstrate effective communication across all levels of the organisation
  • Adaptable to individual customer needs and changing priorities
  • Honest, highly professional and reliable
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
