Who we are looking for: Currently Merchgirls is looking to appoint a Production Coordinator to join or Production Team with exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills & a focus on quality and innovation to continue to take our merchandise to the next level.

What you will be doing: You will be managing all local production and co-managing all offshore production. The goal is ‘Merchandise that’s twice as nice’, every time.

Daily responsibilities are outlined below:

• New order administration
• Update the Production Schedule daily with both offshore and local orders
• Daily tracking of samples, and all stages of the local production process until delivery
• Monitor all orders to ensure they are delivered on time
• Accurately confirm product and freight cost estimates and reconcile accordingly
• Coordinate with local and offshore suppliers
• Following Merchgirls’ strict quality control process to ensure our quality is ‘twice as nice’
• Sample QC and approval with our suppliers
• Create costings for local RFQ enquiries
• Raise Purchase Orders
• Liaise with accounts to ensure all payments are made according to Merchgirls’ and suppliers agreed payment terms
• Communicate with Account Managers and other internal departments on the progress of orders

Key Experience:

• • 5+ years in similar role in the fashion, textiles, accessories or promo industry
• • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word)
• • Exceptional communications skills
• • Particular attention to detail
• • Be a problem solver with a ‘can-do’ attitude!
• • Work to tight deadlines
• • Strong time management and organisation skills
• • Team player
