Account Manager

Promo Gear is a Brisbane-based specialist supplier of promotional marketing merchandise, corporate gifts, uniforms, workwear and PPE. We work with some of Australia’s largest private and public companies as well as Commonwealth, State and Local governments.

We are currently seeking a professional and experienced Account Manager to underpin and strengthen our relationships with existing and new clients.

The successful applicant will be a team player committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients as well as being self-motivated and results oriented.

Please only apply if you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Promotional Products industry in a sales role with proven history. The promotional products industry is a specialist industry requiring specific skills and knowledge to service clients.

We require a highly skilled and experienced team member to service our top tier clients. You will be directly responsible for existing key clients and building new relationships. Essential skills and experience:

  • Proven history of sales in the promotional products industry.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience as an Account Manager in the promotional products industry.
  • Thorough experience and knowledge of Adobe Illustrator/artwork requirements.
  • History of strong customer service focus and relationship building.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality.
  • Proven ability to develop your client base and create new relationships.
  • Technologically proficient (Eg: MS Office Suite) and the ability to master new programs including our proprietary system with strong data entry skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Positive, happy, fun, and energetic with a sense of humour.
  • You must be a creative thinker/problem solver.

Hours are flexible, renumeration will be dependent on experience and skill set. Expected salary approx. $55-$60k + commission +super.
