Sales Account Manager
In the role of Business Development Manager, you will focus on client retention, new business wins and grow our Sydney market share. You will have a strong desire to want to grow and develop a strong pipeline of business opportunities through strategic networking and relationship building.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Achieve budgeted sales and trading margin contribution targets.
- Monitor sales by product group to identify areas of opportunity.
- Develop strategies to further advance organic growth.
- Onboarding customers for successful first order in partnership with internal account management team.
- Strategic plans for contract retention working alongside key stakeholders.
- Meet regularly with management to discuss contracts, field work, growth opportunities and opposition activities in the territory.
- Understand reporting needs and proficiency.
- Liaise with Group Sales Manager to prepare an annual budget by client.
YOUR BACKGROUND
- Proven business development experience.
- Previous experience in retail, merchandise, apparel, safety and or promotional products would be highly desirable.
- Growing B2B customer base success in winning new business and achieving sales targets.
- Sales reporting and territory planning experience.
- Strong sales discipline and communication skills.
