Account Manager
Fashion Biz is seeking a highly qualified Account Manager to join our NSW team and drive the promotion and sales of our well-established market leading brands Biz Collection, Biz Corporates and Biz Care to our distributor base within a selected NSW territory.
As an Account Manager at Fashion Biz, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients while driving sales in all brands and in all categories to achieve growth and set sales targets. We offer a friendly and open work environment, and you will be part of a professional sales team dedicated to providing exceptional service. Reporting to the State Sales Manager, this role covers a very well-established territory comprising clients in North and West of Sydney including the Central Coast and the ACT.
A typical week consists of client visits Monday through Thursday and then planning from our Sydney office in Prestons on Fridays. Additionally, this role involves giving presentations, attending networking events and trade shows, and participating in interstate training sessions as required. You will be on the road 4 days per week meeting with customers, providing product training, presenting new styles, offering support and guidance, and assisting with brand presentation in store.
Objectives of this role:
- Represent Fashion Biz and the Biz Collection, Biz Corporates and Biz Care brands in a professional manner showcasing how the product delivers the best quality possible and meets the needs of a wide range of customers.
- Build strong relationships with distributor base.
- Working closely with distributors to ensure product is included in larger B2B contracts.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
- Assess and qualify new distributor opportunities.
- Develop and implement territory action plans using comprehensive data analysis and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service.
- Identify and qualify new stockists / resellers.
- Set appointments, make effective sales calls and manage your territory’s sales cycle.
- Possess in-depth product knowledge to conduct and ensure meaningful product training sessions with customer and end user.
- Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, and other required documentation for executive-level presentations.
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with existing and potential clients.
- Record accurate information into CRM, provide territory sales analysis to the business every month.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Three or more years of sales experience within the apparel industry is desired.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook 365
- Strong ability to balance working autonomously and with the existing NSW sales team and greater Fashion Biz team
