Account Manager

Established for over 30 years, Brighter Ideas is a market leader in promotional merchandise offering a diverse range of creative and innovative products. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced and dedicated Account Manager to hit the ground running and join their dynamic team.

Using your relationship building and business development expertise, you will be targeting new and existing clients with creative new ideas, products and concepts while educating them on achieving the best outcome.

Key duties:

  • Target current and potential clients with new ideas, products and concepts whilst educating them on decoration techniques and the marketing impact of promotional products.
  • Achieve and surpass sales budget, servicing existing clients and opening new accounts whilst building revenue and margins
  • Quoting via email, entering orders, creating art reference sheets whilst liaising with clients and suppliers to win orders and achieve the best outcome for clients.
  • Manage Customer Service Officer's workflow, productivity, capacity and performance.
  • Such other duties associated or related duties as directed from time to time by the Employer.
  • Fill in or distribute work to other Account Managers in their absence.

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Promotional Products, B2B, real estate, digital print or similar industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets — please be prepared to provide examples or evidence of sales results
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel (CorelDRAW and Adobe Creative Suite highly desirable)
