APPA is proud to announce Maree Lawless, owner of The Works Printing Group in Tasmania, as the 2022 recipient of APPA Life Membership.
APPA President Robert Williams announced Maree as the latest individual to receive the highly prestigious honour at the 2022 APPA Awards Gala Dinner at Crown Palladium on Wednesday August 24.
Maree (along with partner David Lawless) has been running The Works Printing Group in Hobart since 1983, a business renowned for operating some of the most sophisticated printing machinery in the country.
For decades, Maree has been the face of The Works Printing Group, visiting customers all around Australia and exhibiting at APPA shows. Maree has long nurtured a passion for the environment and is committed to sourcing products ethically and operating her business as sustainably as possible.
Maree served on the APPA Board from 2013 to 2017 as Treasurer. Throughout these years, APPA underwent significant change, influenced highly by Maree’s considered, thoughtful and professional approach to all matters undertaken by the Board. During her tenure, Maree was passionate about strengthening APPA’s Code of Conduct, governance, financial controls and operational policies and procedures.
